Nice little video highlighting a couple of vehicles with an interesting link.
The Jensen interceptor and the Vw syncro share a piece of technology dating back to the sixties that make the syncro, well, a syncro.
The Jensen intercepter FF ( standing for Formula Ferguson) was a early 4WD road car credited as being one of the first to use a viscous coupling to sort out power distribution between the front and rear axles automatically without driver intervention.
Although the Jensen shown isn’t an FF it’s still worth watching the first bit.. Or just skip to the Syncro at around 11 minutes in.
